Homeschooling in Germany Banned

WorldNetDaily reports that Homeschoolers are being preyed upon in the Federal Republic of Germany, and it seems the ghost of Hitler lives. In Nazi Germany, the totalitarian state made several major strides towards solidifying control of society in the hands of the state. A major stride was the effort to topple the federal state and dispense with states' rights and local control, in favor of omnipotent central government. One vital pillar in the totalitarian nation-building project involved nationalization of education coupled with compulsory attendance laws and abolition of any competiting mediums such as private parochial schools or homeschooling. It seems, in twenty-first century Germany old habits die hard. Today, ordinary Germans, particularly conservative Christians, that object to these policies, and insist upon homeschooling their children are treated as little better than common criminals. In some cases, they are subjected to police harrassment, arrest, and even excessive use of force such as SWAT team raids, as well as losing custody of their children.
